2024: Your Year To Become The Heavyweight Champ

The year of the Wood Dragon.

by Dr. Jaime Fritsch, DACM, L.Ac.

2024 is the year of the Wood Dragon. This is a special combination of wood and fire that can contribute to explosive, astronomical growth. Whatever it is you have wanted to do for the past few years or even decades and haven’t, this is your moment. Ride the dragon high.

The last time this kind of energy was here was 1964 (the last Wood Dragon year) when: Cassius Clay is crowned heavyweight champion of the world and becomes Muhammad Ali, Alaska saw the most powerful earthquake in North American history, Sidney Poitier took home the Oscar, Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life in prison, the first computer program written in BASIC is run, the first major student demonstrations protesting the war in Vietnam occurred, the Palestinian Liberation Organization was founded, the first closeup images from the moon were obtained, the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution was passed, South Africa was banned from the Olympics for racial segregation (also the first year the Olympics were in an Asian country), the Philadelphia race riots occurred, the Beatles announce they won't play in the US to segregated audiences, the Warren Commission is released, Rhodesia became Zambia, Australia ends capital punishment, the Star of India (535 carat diamond) is stolen, the Berkeley Free Speech Movement took off, MLK Jr. won the Nobel Peace Prize, massive flooding in the northwest USA, the SR71 Blackbird took its first flight, and I'm sure lots more.

For a more detailed analysis of the upcoming Wood Dragon year, you can read this awesome breakdown. It gets into the possibilities of wild weather patterns and even reveals some political predictions.

Lastly, my personal Taiwanese witch doctor did have one piece of advice regarding the potentiality of this year’s extra special vibe: you can make a million dollars this year if you want, but you’ll become much more rich if you use this energy on finding yourself.

The Wood Dragon emerges February 4. Hop on in.

Love you guys.

—Jaime
